I called the primary space that I had in mind for a new home, one that required the least monetary investment for adaptation and further equipment, and it’s a no-go.

The other will require quite a bit of adapting, and possibly further monetary involvement, i.e. - rent. But I’m already paying a rent, and if I have to procure all the materials anyway, then why the hell not do a darkroom in my bathroom?

I keep coming back to that cheapest method. I also wonder why it is that in order for me to share the expensive equipment I already have with others it will actually cost me money. But if I want to slave at home and not share it’s cheaper.

Yes, yes, I’m going to call them anyway, but still, it’s rather ridiculous.
